Intimidating Driving

On a continuous basis people yell at me, swear at me and tell me I’m #1 with their middle finger when I’m out driving. Now at first I thought they were giving me feedback on my website but a closer analysis showed otherwise.

People get pissed at me on the road for my extreme driving. ;-)

They react this way because my style of driving intimidates them. I drive fast and aggressive! Sometimes my car will even get mad at me and cut my speed off.

But isn’t this unsafe and aren’t all of the speeding tickets a pain?

Well first of all I have never received one single speeding ticket…ever (watch me get one now!). I should be drowning in them but I’m just good at avoiding cops and lucky. I’ve never even used a radar detector. Second, regarding the safety of my driving, I am convinced that my aggressive driving is just as safe as an average driver going the speed limit as long as I am fully focused. I’m risk adverse but at the same time like pushing things and have become comfortable with it over time. It is like how a professional racecar driver may drive faster and more aggressive than the average driver on the road. They are capable of doing it safely because of their skill. I’m no pro but I do have skill.

It is funny because a lot of times certain people will just pull over and let me pass like I am an emergency vehicle or something. Ah what fun driving can be. I wonder how much my intimidation factor will increase when I am driving a Viper? We’ll see!
